She wrote her first play in high school - "Burnt Leaves," about Lord Byron's life, Amadeus on the brain. In college, "Jack & Jills," an original drama with dance and movement, took best one-act. Atlanta brought productions: an adaptation of Zorro, a contemporary Cyrano, a Pyramus and Thisbe with puppets. Then she turned to the screen, shortly before moving to LA. That's when women took the lead - navigating worlds that underestimate them.
